Resources for Mom
I believe resources should be more than just suggestions when it comes to motherhood. We need support, helpful information, and a new way to be understood throughout the journey of becoming a mother. In my days of postpartum, these resources below have helped me in many ways, and I share them with you in hopes that they help you too!
Becoming a mom, I felt strongly about researching clean, simple products for my babies (and myself). Visit my Shop My storefront to browse some great options for you and your babies!
Prospera
Mental Health Support Designed for Fertility, Pregnancy and Postpartum
4 months of therapy with Prospera helped me understand my postpartum anxiety, and occasional depression. Prospera works with you to understand and rewire your thinking patterns, and is so helpful in supporting mothers navigating this new chapter. The price is great, and the support is specific to mothers.
The Power Pause
Planning a career break after kids, and understanding a new perspective of being a stay-at-home-mom.
This book was just what I needed when I transitioned from a full time freelance creative, to a stay-at-home-mom. I was questioning my next steps (and still am), but have been able to lean into motherhood even more after reading Neha’s book. It’s really wonderful.
Mealtrain
A free and easy website for your village to pick a day to bring you meals during early days with your baby.
This was such a helpful thing to have postpartum. The mental load and sleep deprivation make it such an effort to cook, so having people commit to a day to bring us meals was so amazing. It helped my husband and I feel really supported during the early days with our twin preemies.
What To Do When You’re Having Two
The twins survival guide from pregnancy through the first year.
As a twin mom to preemie babies, this book really helped me and my husband mentally prepare for what was to come with raising two tiny humans. We had so many questions, but didn’t want to overwhelm ourselves with so many books. Natalie lays out all of the necessary points of advice that you need to feel ready if you’re expecting multiples. I always tell expecting moms of multiples about this book every chance I get!
