Motherland came to me in the early days of postpartum after having my twin daughters. 2am, 4am, 6am feeds gave me a lot of time to think with whatever brain power I had left. I kept wondering “How am I supposed to adjust to this new life as a twin mom?” It was beautiful… but also overwhelming and emotional.

I realized that my perceptions of motherhood were far from what I was going through. When I started talking to other moms who were experiencing the same things, that’s when I felt understood. The reality is that motherhood is far from a highlight reel, and I needed to feel seen through the good and the hard days.

Motherland is a project that has come to me since becoming a mother. It’s a place where I share my experiences, design apparel inspired by motherhood, and create a brand that grows with me throughout the chapters of motherhood. I’m so very happy you’re here! Welcome to Motherland.
