I’m Ashley - twin mom & founder of Motherland
Motherland came to me in the early days of postpartum after having my twin daughters. 2am, 4am, 6am feeds gave me a lot of time to think with whatever brain power I had left. I kept wondering “How am I supposed to adjust to this new life as a twin mom?” It was beautiful… but also overwhelming and emotional. I realized that my perceptions of motherhood were far from what I was going through. When I started talking to other moms that were experiencing the same things, that’s when I felt understood. The reality is that motherhood is far from a highlight reel. Motherland is a project that has come to me over the past year of raising my babies. It’s a place where I share stories, create apparel for moms, and cultivate a community where you can feel supported and understood. I’m so very happy you’re here!
